I am so excited that this wedding was recently featured on Southern Weddings Blog. I have been waiting to post it on my blog until it was featured on theirs!
This wedding really was amazing. Ryan and Jennifer chose to get married in the back yard of Ryan’s parent’s lake house overlooking the lake. It was magical. The whole day really was surreal. The weather was perfect.
Bobby and Mark of BobbyMark Designs planned, coordinated, and did all the beautiful floral work. Jennifer did a more in depth interview with Southern Weddings where she talks about the details of the day. I love how she wanted all the pops of color in her flowers since they were in such a wooded location.
I decided to go to the lake first before I made my way up the mountain to the house. I know how important this lake is to them, and how much time they have spent at this dock. I was actually just reading “Our State” magazine and this very boat is on the cover and the story about how Lake Toxaway came to be. It was really neat to read about.
Loved Ryan’s Armani Tux.
Jen had makeup lessons from the talented Wendy Ballance in the weeks leading up to the wedding so Jen was able to know just what to do on the day of.
Zorki Nastasic’s music was fantastic! I wish I could hear him sing again. I think he actually might be playing at Wicked Weed Brewing in Asheville soon.
Rentals by Classic Event Rental.
Ugh! I wish I could go back to this day! Look there even was a full moon!
Thank you Jen and Ryan for trusting me to document your day!
