With the first day of fall today, the changing leaves have me aching for jeans and sweaters and reminiscing about Kayla and Gerald’s winter wedding at The Grove Park Inn. The crisp mountain air and the dark blue skies of winter made it a perfect day for a wedding.
What is also SO spectacular about this wedding is that the fine ladies over at Verge Events planned and designed this wedding in just 6 weeks! Can you believe that?! The wedding reception at Grove Park Inn Country Club was stunning. Kayla wanted it to look like you were in an elegant country kitchen. The blue vintage china from Upstyled Settings and the kitchen tables from Old South Vintage Rentals made everyone feel at home. The custom linens from Nuage Designs was the perfect touch.
Y’all know how much I adore First Looks by now! Kayla and Gerald enjoyed a private moment before the ceremony overlooking out beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
Oh that veil was so much fun to photograph!
LOVE Tim Lolley with Blue Mountain Weddings.
Kayla and Gerald took the Grove Park’s vintage car down to the Country Club. They let me in on the ride. It was chilly but super fun!
Studio Flora Diva showing off, doing what she does best! Made winter feel like a beautiful garden!
Tellico Band provided sweet bluegrass music for the guests.
What an awesome wedding and special treat for all the wedding guests. Nothing beats the winter blues then a gorgeous wedding!
